The Aquatic Ape Theory
Here is a very intriguing talk about the aqautic ape theory. To get a balanced view of the AAT, check out this blog post and this website. Other than that, enjoy:
Interesting, but it is only a hypothesis at this point, no matter how lovable that lady is. Wikipedia has a great article on the matter which describes the problems that have been raised, which the woman in the video failed to mention.
Humans did not descend from aquatic apes, of course, although our ancestors were too slow & heavy to run over open plains as some anthropologists still believe. Instead, Pleistocene Homo populations simply followed the coasts & rivers in Africa & Eurasia (800,000 years ago, they even reached Flores more than 18 km overseas), google, eg, “econiche Homo”. –eBook “Was Man more aquatic in the past?” introd.Phillip Tobias http://www.benthamscience.com/ebooks/9781608052448/index.htm –guest post at Greg Laden’s blog http://scienceblogs.com/gregladen/2013/01/30/common-misconceptions-and-unproven-assumptions-about-the-aquatic-ape-theory

Thanks for the links. I have never heard of this theory but it is very interesting.

In fact it sounds interesting, but it seems to be no more than a lot of BS. It's in the "lunacy fringe" with merit
